The Sudafest fundraiser at Filwood Community Centre in Bristol brought people together in support of those affected by the war in Sudan—and it was a powerful evening.
Live performances from Sudanese artists Ebo Krdum and Mustafa Khogali set the tone, sharing music that celebrated Sudan while calling for peace. A particularly moving moment came when children from the pre-event workshops joined them on stage to sing for peace.
The event was full of energy, with children taking part in crafts and breakdancing, alongside a lively programme of stalls, auctions, and a raffle.
Together, we raised £1,200, all of which was donated to the Sudanese Doctors Union UK to support those impacted by the crisis.
Thank you to everyone who joined, contributed, and helped make the event possible.
